Christoffer Falk har de senaste åren bevisat att ett öra för bra musik och en ¬fingertoppskänsla för stämning är ett vinnande koncept. Framgångarna Locatelli, TORSDAGAR | Peacock, Peacock | Hamngatan, Klubb 400 och FORUM har på kort tid blivit Göteborgsklassiker.

Nu kommer Falk spendera den andra onsdagen varje månad på Level Nivå.

Tillsammans med olika gäst-Dj's kommer Falk att utforska och presentera det bästa inom den elektroniska dansmusiken. Många, dynamiska och dansanta kvällar utlovas!

BIOGRAPHY:
Originally from London, UK and now based in Goteborg, Jafar is head of the Artizan Music label (www.artizanmusic.co.uk ) with production partners Maxime Cescau (together as Poussez www.poussez.co.uk ) and keys wizard Andy Touchfingers (Jafar & Touch). Jafar has also released under the additional aliases Rare Unit, Jafar & Bobby Strobe and as part of the 8piece Deep House/jazz collective, Poetiquette (www.myspace.com/poetiquettelive ).


A DJ for over 17 years and former winner of Musik Magazine's prestigious 'Bedroom Bedlam' competition (2000), Jafar rose to fame on the UK Techno circuit opening for the likes of global heavyweights Carl Cox and Sven Vath, at seminal club nights 'Final Frontier' and 'Eurobeat 2000', way back in the early 1990s. The internationally renowned 'DJ Magazine' named Jafar 'The Rising Star of Deep House' (2004), a reputation he has gone onto cement, via a consistent flow of international gigs, remixes and releases on respected underground imprints including, Huddtraxx, Loud East, Universal Vibes, Blacksoul, Hustle, Pesto, Hydraulix, Gravitation, Berwick Street and of course his own Artizan Music. His remix credits take in respected artists like Rithma (Om, USA), Pete Dafeet (Lost My Dog, UK), Spieltape (Global Underground, Russia) and Terry Farley (Junior Boys Own, UK), whilst he has also collaborated on studio work with vocalists Marcus Begg, Rich Medina, Hannah Khemoh (The Reel People) and fellow producers Funky Transport and Demarkus Lewis. His Poussez material with Maxime has itself been remixed by the likes of Roberto Rodriquez (Compost), Nacho Marco(Freerange) and Atjazz (Mantis).

A DJs DJ, Jafar has long worked at both his crafts; As dedicated to his turntablism as he is to his production. You will still find him cutting it up across 1210's as much as CDJs - not to say he's not a fan of Tractor/Serato, rather, he is a diehard vinyl lover.

Artizan Music's label events have, over the years, held residencies at prestigious UK venues Neighbourhood, The End, Notting Hill Arts Club and East Village. This has seen Jafar joined by many of his peers, including Pepe Bradock, Kerri Chandler, Iz and Diz, Charles Webster, Manoo, Atjazz and Dj Deep. Artizan Music is itself home to Demarkus Lewis, Nacho Marco, Funky Transport and many more.
